BEAUTIFICATION MAINTENANCE TEAM (Genesis 1:1,10 & 1 Corinthians 14:40)
Ecclesia recognizes that it is not buildings and facilities with which God is concerned, but with people. However, to draw those who don’t know Him, and to create an atmosphere where worshippers and guests can hear the gospel comfortably, we must be concerned about the appearance of the buildings and facilities GOD has provided.

DEACONESS (Philippians 4:3; Romans 16:1-2)
The Deaconess Ministry of Ecclesia is a support ministry similar to that of the Deacons. A Deaconess is a servant, an appointed lay officer in Ecclesia’s Ministry.
Paul praised women in many of his letters. He made no reference to gender when he wrote to the churches at Rome (Romans 12:1-8) and Corinth (1 Corinthians 12:1-3) about the gifts they had been given, the service expected of them and the oneness of the Church as the body of Christ. It seems inconceivable that Paul would exclude all the women of the Church when he said, “You are the body of Christ and individually members of it” (1 Corinthians 12:17).

DEACONS (Acts 6:1-6)
As necessary, deacons are appointed to serve the Church, particularly in undertaking those areas of need that would otherwise prohibit the elders and other leaders (pastor and/or staff) from performing their Biblical responsibilities. These leaders, along with all members of each local body, form a unique organism... a visible and functioning expression of the universal Church. Ecclesia recognizes this Biblical pattern for the plurality of godly leadership, under the oversight and watchful care of elders.

The elders were given the ultimate responsibility for the oversight of that particular Church body, and the shepherding of its members. “Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.” Some elders would give more time to the spiritual leadership than others and would be called to fill more demanding responsibilities.
